Halloween Hummus Tarts

This is the second of our Halloween Hummus holiday creations.

The sweetness of the pumpkin, cashew cream, and maple syrup lends itself beautifully to a tart filling.

We kept it simple by finding some ready made puff pastry cases at our local baking supplies shop. The creative part was making the stencils for the icing powder silhouettes. So if you have some time to kill, make some spooky stencils and spice up your tarts!

Method
  • Scoop a tablespoon or two of hummus into each pastry case
  • Bake at 180C (350F) for 25 minutes.
  • Let them bad boys cool for 10 minutes, then dust with icing sugar and enjoy while warm!
