We accept Visa, Mastercard and JCB cards, as well as ATM transfers from many of the major Taiwan banks.

+ How do you deliver?

Our standard delivery is a frozen service (T-Cat, aka BlackCat!) that will arrive during business hours. We deliver directly to your door, so make sure someone is available to collect.

+ Where do you deliver?

We deliver all over Taiwan, except the outlying islands.

+ What if I’m not present when the delivery arrives?

The delivery service will call the number you provided to let you know they have arrived. If there is nobody available to receive the package, they will attempt to deliver it again the following day.

ORDERS & RETURNS

+ How can I change, add to, or cancel an order?

After the order has gone through, it can’t be changed. Our products are all made to order, so if it is cancelled less than three working days before the delivery date, Hippidippi is unable to offer a refund. Otherwise, please contact us using the form on the website.

+ How can I check my order status?

Please go to the Member Login and then to Order History to check your order status. Once your order has been shipped, you will be notified by email.

+ What should I do if there is a problem with the product(s)?

If the products arrive damaged or are not what you ordered and need to be returned or exchanged, please take a photo within 3 hours of receipt, put them in the freezer, and use the form on the website to contact us on how to proceed.

+ What is your return policy?

Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act pertaining to returning goods within 7 days does not apply to refrigerated foods. Our return policy applies only to damaged or wrongly sent goods. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns in other cases. Thanks for understanding!

STORAGE

+ How long do the dips keep in the freezer?

Our dips should be thawed by the date stamped on the bottom of the package, which is eight months from the date of manufacture. Consume within five days of thawing.

+ How do I thaw the dips?

If you aren't in a hurry, move dips to the fridge 24hrs before you want to eat. Otherwise, float in a bowl of warm water for 30 minutes, replacing warm water at the 10- and 20-minute mark. And give the container a spin while you wait... it's fun! Or be like grandad and just put it on top of the fridge for an hour! Give the dip a good stir if necessary.

+ Why is there oil/water in the thawed dips?

The freezing and thawing process can sometimes cause dips to separate. If so, give it a good stir before using. The taste will be unaffacted.

+ What if I don't want to thaw the whole container?

That's fine! Just leave the container on a countertop for around an hour until the dip is soft enough to scoop/cut out what you want. Return the container to the freezer for another day!

+ Once thawed, how do I keep the dips for as long as possible?

Rule number one is, don’t double dip straight from the container! Keep the container in the fridge as much as possible, and try not to leave the lid off for extended periods. We suggest scooping the amount you want from the container into another bowl, then putting it back in the fridge.

+ Can I refreeze my dips?

Technically, yes, as long as it was kept cold (5 degrees or below) in the fridge for no more than 3 days. Please note that there will be a loss of quality in texture, flavour and appearance. If dips were completely thawed and left outside of the fridge for more than an hour, then no, we do not recommend refreezing.

DIETARY TYPES

+ Are your dips suitable for vegans?

Yes! None of our products contain any egg, milk or other animal ingredients. They do however contain quite a lot of garlic, so vegan vampires might want to look elsewhere.

+ Are your dips gluten-free?

With the exception of Muhammara, which has a small amount of breadcrumbs, yes!
